Please please PLEASE stop creating/reblogging posts quoting Chris McCandless accompanied by a picture of Emile Hirsch. They are two different people. While Emile did an incredible job portraying McCandless in the movie Into the Wild (and he is undeniably gorgeous and admittedly my celebrity crush), those are not his words. There are plenty of images of the real Chris McCandless floating about the internet to use with his brilliant thoughts. It’s wrong and unfair and really bothers me. That is all.
